(Firefox) Download almost any song in the Radio blog club database
I first heard about radio blog on Nyms blog.. Those who know me will guess my immediate thought on seing this post
(for the others, it was something like *viewable media = downloadable media*
:P anyway, yeah it can be done, and i will show you how. (just consider this as my xmas gift to the community
)
So to begin, go to the main radio blog club search site. Now for this demo i will choose untitled by simple plan.

Obviously, click search, and…

something like this should appear.
Now choose one of the search results to be taken to the user*s playlist. (preferably in a new tab, there is a possibility you will have to return to the search results).
When you click one of the results, there should be something like this:

After clicking on a search result, wait for the song to load and play. when the song is over, open a new tab, and type about:cache in the title bar.

Click list cache entries for the second section (Disk cache device).
A list should appear. perform a page search (CTRL + F) and search .rbs
Nearly over. now click on the .rbs link. you will be taken
here

(Note, this is a single link. i cut the line into two so that it would fit in
now just click on this link and tadaa!
Now, .rbs files can be directly renamed into .mp3 files. else they are playable as-is (i.e. as .rbs files) by most media players
(i use wmp11
)
pfff… i dont know if i was clear enough. (was i ??
) anyway ask me if something is unclear.
Enjoy!
Merry xmas everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

great tip mate!!!

December 27th, 2006 at 4:31 pmhey Zed-kun!!!!!!! nice to see you in here!! happy you love the site too
(you should start blogging too (tip
)
erm, illegal? maybe not… imho,
if a film is airing on tv, or a song airing on radio, and you record it, is it piracy? and before, when there were only audio tapes, noone cared wether anyone copied from the tapes.
Hm, for your question there is a way
Create a new file in scite (or any plain text editor…) write
(there is a space between rbs and *.mp3)
Save the file as anyname.bat
Move the bat file to the directory with your rbs files, and double click on it. (the bat file)

Hey chris, by the way, isnt there a way to quickly rename several rbs files into mp3?
December 26th, 2006 at 10:41 pmaaaahh okay…. now i see how you got all those songs! but hey, is that legal? i mean, wont the cops come by your place and lock you away until the songs you downloaded get out of fashion?
Nice site by the way bro
December 26th, 2006 at 10:29 pmhappy you like it
just tell me if you succeed!
December 26th, 2006 at 10:25 pmBy the way, the about:cache method is MUCH more efficient because it works on protected ftp servers
but even then it doesnt have 100% chances of succeeding, but when it works, it does work well
wow!

Hey man I forgot to mention a crutial info for your theme : Colourful Wall.
When using image, I would suggest you use those with a max width of 480px. For this you could use services like imageshack.us and proceed as follows:
1) browse for you image or link to url
December 24th, 2006 at 9:04 pm2) use resize image with size : 340×240….
try it out, I’m sure you’re gonna find it
