Well, By the end of this year, I am realising that, although i had to repeat my Lower 6, it was probably the year during which I learned the most, the year with the most new achievements, most new events, well, in brief, not a wastage of time like most would say about a year where you are repeating a class (because of a damn hard maths paper and a headache ).

The most important event this year would have to be my start-up as a full time blogger (I mean, not just  having a skyblog, which imho is very limited in everything concerning customisation (and a blog is supposed to be a personal space so, customisation should be part of it. )   it started  in february, when i visited the old blogosquare on blogger. How i flamed Hans for posting about something I had
taught him (it was on the usage of Autorun scripts in usb flash drives if i remember correctly), and taking all the credit for it as an apology, he invited me to join him and we shifted Blogosquare to wordpress…

This year, School was, hm, interesting. learned new maths shortcuts (btw guys, did you know that we actually never ever need to do long division in our syllabus? )

Had a bunch of nice teachers too. I got away from my previous maths teacher, who was a kinda scary old man with lots of sarcasm to share with each and every pupil in his class (isnt it hans? ) but now that i think of it, he was kinda nice in his own way .  This year i had a very nice and cool (and cute too ) lady who taught french at the beginning of the year but she was transferred just after two months… but the rest of the teachers, be it the maths or computing teachers, were also cool… but GP and English were probably the 2 classes where i slept the most during my whole carreer as a student interaction level in the class = 0
 
Sure, i missed My friends a lot,  and i did not have such good friends as Hans and anoop in my new class, but i didnt lose contact with those two, as we regularly met during the breaks, chatting about all our interests (Rock/music, japanim, manga, and more geeky techy stuffs ) and well, that was fun!

Then in july, i was (finally ) 18. Bought myself a new MP3 player (1 GB capacity, nice thingy) and got an electro acoustic guitar from my parents. that was really coooooooooooolz .
(would have put photos of my precious here but my dads digicam is down, and my webcams low image quality would just get me mad )
 that was an occasion to improve my guitarist skills i might show you some day, but not now, im still not talented enough for a public display )

September was the month where i became increasingly involved in my online activities. Made new blogger friends, namely Nym, Waz and comradejv among others, and  in october i was launching the kyusphere, thus marking my emancipation from blogosquare, and leaving Hans to blog solo in there.

November was the month of all hopes. I have passed my exams, had a great party to celebrate that, had my internet connection upgraded: High speed and PERMANENT internet connection, (hey, that was essential for my survival, being the tech info addicted geek that i am! lol i constantly find myself getting ideas for new projects and solutions to problems at about 2:00am yeah, it seems my brain works overclocked by 5 Ghz very late at night, probably because of the absolutely calm atmosphere and ultimate silence, lol you should try that when you are on holidays, its real nice I even designed my 1st theme entirely yesterday at 4 am (waz can confirm that i was awake at 4 )

Now december is almost finished, and next year is full of promises. Although i will feel pretty lonely without my buddies, cause theyll probably be in university or some of them will already be working, or some others, waiting idly for cambridge to announce their results officially, I am happy, happy  for i have proved that i could do it hey i have even completed my computing paper 2 program so no late rush next july, no pressure, just cooool  (thus even a bit happy i repeated this year )

So, how was 2006 for you? is it a year you would remember for a long time? or just another ordinary year among others?
