My first theme
As you may have noticed,i have switched to a new theme for the beginning of 2007. It is the first wordpress theme i ever designed, and i called it DarKnight 1.0. Granted, it is a very basic theme, and Actually, i did really like the theme designed by hans, the *Colourful wall*, but i just wanted to know the mechanics behind wp template designing, so i just took a peep at the codes written by hans. (fortunately, i had previously asked him to keep code readability
)
So i slowly grasped the main idea and got to work on the 30th of december at 2 a.m (hm then should be the 31th i guess :p) of course, my design was crappy at first! (guess it almost always is when we begin though
) But little by little i was giving it a descent shape, and in the end i managed to give the template a *Dark side* kind of atmosphere
As i said before, this is my first ever theme, so your opinions, feedbacks, ideas for new implementations, bug reports etc… are all welcome
By the way thanks hans, i think i finally grasped that web css thing. its easier than wap css actually because everything is on a single screen
Darknight, 90% completed
EDIT: Gaara*s face depixelated. the banner looks cleaner now. also, sidebar framed. 94% complete
RE-EDIT- Youpi, finally figured out the comment javascript, commenting (almost) entirely rewritten, its really swift now and the comment form does not freeze anymore
that puts the theme completion to 97% and the rest is a safety margin to cater for any suggestions / unseen bugs
