Provide Email registration to your blog posts (Almost any platform)
Now i know this is old news for many of you, but i found no one described how to do it, and up till now i have only seen wordpress users use this although it is usable on any platform using XML feeds of any kind (RSS, Atom, etc…).
Some time ago i posted a video tuto on creating a feedburner account. well, One of the benefits of this is that it allows you to enable your readers to follow your posts by Email. No need for plugins or anything. interested? So lets go
Now go Login to your feedburner account Or quickly create one and burn your feed. (If you cannot manage to do so please check this video tuto, or do not hesitate to ask your questions through my comment form.) Anyway, once your feed is burnt

Okies! Now click on the Publicize tab. in the right sidebar, Click on Email subscriptions.
You will now be asked to select a service provider. i have tested both feedburner and feedblitz and both do work. However, Feedburner has the advantage that you already have an account with them, whereas you would need to register with feedblitz.
once you have selected a provider and enabled the service, you will be provided with the necessary html to Copy-paste to your sites template. You can choose from either a nice little form or a link to a form. To give you an idea, here is a live example of a working form.
Why not take the opportunity to register to my site via Email and be alerted when i post new content?
:p
