Never fully trust technicians! :)
Yep, am back. Me pc too…
I was wondering why i never bothered to bring my pc to a technician, i mean, some problems i had in the past took weeks and sometimes months to solve by meself.So this time, as i could not see what was to be done i just took it to a tech. Today, 5 days later, i receive a phone call…
Many problems in your machine. many parts will have to be replaced…
The bill? Rs 13000, Absolutely NO WAY! i took the pc back home, tried to switch on, still nothing. well…. but an intuition told me to open the case once again and OH MY, all the cables were disconnected. I reconnect and…. could a cable reconnection cost Rs 13 000? wow…
So me pc is now back on, without me having paid one cent, and of course we phoned that tech guy to flame him 
Although i do not really know what happened, here is my guess:
The guy found what was wrong and corrected it,
He thought Hey, i think i can make some more money from those stupid noob guys…
Calls us and gives a false diagnosis,
Didn’t expect we would come to get the box that quick
disconnected everything so that we would think its still broken….
pffff….. :s enfin……….
The holidays will be busy now. Design competition, project completion, ps2 party (YEAH, got the naruto game!!! and legend of legaia 2, to reawaken the rpg instinct in me
