Netvibes, unleashed?
Most of you do already know netvibes. for those who do not, it is a custom home page service (similar to the one proposed by google and yahoo) with a great interface, and functionalities.

I have been using netvibes for about half a year now, and i must say its fits my weblife greatly. it monitors both my yahoo and gmail accounts, me rss feeds, some custom modules (Modularity is great!) You can even use it to chat
aim, yahoo, google, talk msn, icq and jabber via meebo.
the only thing i could reproach them is the lack of a good dark template (Yeah, in case you havent noticed yet i am not really into light (Not leger but clair) themes. and after all, dark is not your enemy! 
But now it seems netvibes is going through some cool mods. here is my new page for instance {Click for larger pics}

Cool huh? But whats cooler, netvibes will soon launch a secondary page for members similar to the main one, but which will be viewable by the whole world. what does that mean? well think web 2.0! sharing our favourite rss feeds, modules, etc… sounds really really really cool!!
One last note to end this article. if you are already a member, have you ever noticed a red dot just above your title? I have. there seemed to be no logical explanation as to why it was there occasionally. wrll i got me reply, its kind of like the red led on your pc tower. it shows activity. (ie feeds / modules are being processed. so do not close the browser while the red dot is there!
